Weekend puppy picture

Xander, this morning on the front porch, before he discovered just how much fun it is to help dig up dandelions. He's good with the pulling 'em up part, but he's still not sure why I want him to stop digging after the roots are out of the ground (it's amazing how fast those clumsy puppy paws can dig up six inches of ground . . .).

The classes went quite well: he's apparently a quick study. He learned the necessary lessons to get treats. It's whether he wants to _use_ that knowledge away from the instructional environment that's still not quite decided. ;-) He's finished the "puppy" classes now and will be moving in to the next level later this month.
