Real nape-of-the-earth flying

A very interesting video clip of South African Mirage fighters flying low to the ground, at OPFOR.

The guy who posted that -- Instapinch -- has an interesting blog. It's a hit or two a week. Posted by: Jon at August 18, 2006 10:53 AM
Damn. That should be "It's worth a hit or two a week." Damn keyboard button thingy. Posted by: Jon at August 18, 2006 10:53 AM
That's ah, nap-of-the-earth.
Even though the majority of hits on Goooooogle say that's the spelling, I refuse to acknowledge it. When I see that variant, I mentally sound it out as nap with an "ah" vowel sound. It may be pronounced with an "ay" vowel sound instead. To indicate that, the trailing "e" is required. Posted by: Nicholas at August 18, 2006 11:11 AM
