A short list of things that amused or alarmed me:

• Icons at war (old, but still amusing if you haven't seen it before)
• Peter Jackson to remake The Dambusters (could be quite interesting . . . I bet they'll rename the dog, though)
• Jonathan Woodgate signs with Middlesbrough and so does Robert Huth (after that 4-0 thrashing the other day, any help at fullback is welcome)
• Castle-building, the old fashioned way (and it's become self-supporting, through tourist income)
• Vikings fail to sign A.J. Feeley (mostly because they're paying their current starting QB slightly more than minimum wage, and won't pay more money to someone as his backup)
• KFAN's Adam Doctolero predicts who'll make the final 53 on the Vikings roster (I think he's got some good reasons for predicting who'll stay and who'll go, but I've only seen one preseason game, so I don't have any useful insights myself)
